As a lifelong outdoor enthusiast, I have always chased adventure—whether swimming in the icy depths of Rocky Mountain lakes, surfing the wild Pacific waves of Tofino, or drifting down Western Canada’s untamed rivers. But in 2023, a downhill mountain biking accident on Vancouver Island left me with a broken neck, forcing a dramatic pause.
During recovery, a walk around Berlin’s Krumme Lanke reignited my spirit. The silent, shimmering beauty of the lake drew me back to the water in an unexpected way - this time, not for adrenaline, but for stillness. That first cold plunge felt nothing short of magical.
Inspired, I forged a new ritual: Daily breathwork followed by an invigorating Cold Water Immersion. The impact was profound, transforming my mental clarity, emotional resilience, and physical recovery in ways I never imagined.
Driven by this life-changing practice, I founded Into Action 369 - a movement to share the power of Cold Water Immersion, Ice Bathing and mindful discipline. Through my journey, I now help others to harness nature’s simplest, most profound medicine: The courage to take the cold plunge.
